Piccolo Prince comes here in great heart but may have to settle for second behind Sahara Silk, with Jaolins expected to be the main danger.. The two principals met here over the five furlong trip last month with the selection coming out on top by just over a length. There is no difference in the weights today, and as Sahara Silk win with a little bit in hand, she is fully expected to confirm the form. Both horses have kept their form since then, Sahara Silk has finished placed in two competitive handicaps at Lingfield, while Piccolo Prince went on to win a class F handicap here. These two will be difficult to get past but Jaolins does hold strong claims having beaten Stamford Blue in good style at Lingfield last month. If she handles this surface she could be a big threat. However we think the form of the two main contenders here is rock solid and we just give the vote to Sahara Silk.
