In depth

Verdict

Fitted with a tongue-tie for the first time, FIZZLESTIX (NAP) bounced back to form with a cosy win over fences at Plumpton. Racing off the same mark back over timber today, Chris Gordon’s charge looks worth sticking with. Hang Tough is another recent winner having scored at Warwick last month and has scope for further progress despite a 5lb rise while Jour A La Plage may improve now handicapping for the first time, though needs to if he’s to figure. The veteran Boher Lad won on faster ground here back in August and Pleney drops back down in class.
