PUNCHING can land this race with Efisio Princess and Fulford worthy of note. Conor Dore's charge has proven form around this circuit and went close last week. Off a 1lb lower mark and with the stable's horses in good order, today could well be the day. Efisio Princess ran lamentably at Kempton last time out. The fact we haven't seen her for so long suggests that there was clearly something amiss. Natalia Gemelova gets on well with the filly and her better all-weather performances have obtained on fibresand. Fulford gets in off a light weight. The booking of Joe Fanning by the Mel Brittain yard seems a statement of intent as far as tactics are concerned. Spin Again has won in claiming grade and attempts to graduate out into handicaps. Calmdownmate and Johnnie Skull have been out of form of late and seem to be best watched at present. Not a race to linger too long over though Punching has claims of posting a knockout blow to his rivals.
