Verdict
An interesting maiden that can go to Extra Mark, who made a very encouraging debut to finish as runner up at Hamilton last week and can go one better today if he takes to this surface. There are obviously a number of potential spoilers though and any one of the six newcomers could figure strongly at this level. The booking of Kieren Fallon for Roesin in particular catches the eye as this sister to the Geraldine Rees' former stable star, Proud Boast, is one that is certain to make an impact at this trip if she has inherited any of her family's speed. Bill Turner also has to be respected with his juveniles at this time of the season and Kentucky banks is another consider if he is supported. Whereas Urabane has experience of the track and showed a good deal of improvement last time and should not be too far away again today. However, Extra Mark looked a winner waiting to happen when he was last seen out and make his experience count tonight.
