Verdict
A tricky bumper to finish the day with plenty of unknown quantities but what we have seen of FLORA'S PRIDE bodes well enough while Alan King's newcomer Chilli Rose can¿t be ignored and the jockey booking of Tony McCoy on Tara Croft is eye-catching. Keith Reveley's Flora's Pride is well bred, out of a dual bumper winner and a half sister to champion two mile chaser Direct Route, and it seems some of that pedigree has rubbed off as she travelled strongly to score a decent looking place on her debut last time; she should improve for that run. Chilli Rose also has a decent family including Ross River who graduated as a bumper and hurdles winner to claim victory in chases over staying distances; any market support for this one need to be noted. The same can be said for Tara Croft who isn't as well bred but will have the champion jockey in the saddle who will get the best out of this debutant. Bouncing Bean is another new comer worthy of respect related to a useful stayer while Give A Lot has been solid in three starts so far but we'll stick with Flora's Pride to improve and fulfil her potential.
