Verdict
Fulford, Alabama Spirit and Bahamarama look the most likely winners of this prize and we are with Fulford on this occasion. Mel Brittain's horses seem to be running consistently at present and the gelding beat a fair yardstick at this grade when accounting for Cape Of Storms at the track eight days ago. Alabama Spirit drops in trip for that illusive first victory. Tolley Dean replaces Dean McKeown in the saddle. Connections were keen to secure the services of Chris Caitlin at the early entries stage for Bahamarama. A plating performer, he showed a degree of purpose in a bad claimer earlier this month. Kirsty Milczarek continues to catch the eye and she renews her acquaitance with Bold Diva. An easy winner at Kempton, it will be interesting to see how Southwell suits. Countrywide Comet has struggled off higher marks while Joshua would be of interest if seeing market support. Note Perfect makes a handicap debut. Fulford wouldn't be the most convincing of selections but he ticks plenty of the right boxes on this occasion.
