      Verdict

      Whitehaven has been well beaten here but the rest debut on the surface including HARRISON POINT. The latter followed a promising debut effort with a victory at Lingfield last month when beating a horse rated 86 and that form looks strong enough to defy a penalty if Archie Watson’s colt takes to the Fibresand. Snowball Jackson looks next best of those with experience on last month’s debut third at Kempton though Iron Heart showed some improvement last time without threatening. Almqvist is related to a host of winners and a newcomer to note representing Mark Johnston’s yard. 1.45
