Verdict
Scartare was unable to match the finishing speed of GOODTHYNEAWAY (NAP) here last month and has to meet his conqueror on the same terms as he races from out of the handicap. Dan Skelton’s six-year-old is clearly going to make a much better chaser than hurdler and can double his tally getting 8lb from the in-form Compadre, who is better when there is some give in the ground. The going may also be too quick for Well Smitten and Zolfo returns from a lay-off while Gentleman Moore is not one to rely upon.
