CHORIZO gets our vote here, being preferred to Sarahs Gift and the blinkered first time Marufo. The Guest runner, their only one on the card, has been prolific in points, but while disappointing in a couple of chases when pulled up, he'll appreciate this faster surface. Last time out he was placed at Carlisle, and looks to have a race within him at this sort of level. When Sarahs Gift completes a race, he's usually involved at the finish, but he's failed to get round on too many occasions and remains 0 from 27. Marufo's best run came four races back over three miles on good ground, when he landed a touch at big odds. First time blinkers may help bring about a repeat. Lisa Williamson comes down from Chester for this one race, saddling Another Club Royal and Flemen Loon, neither of which has much appeal. It looks competitive, but marginal preference is for Chorizo.
