In depth

Verdict

Flash Tommie had looked to be running into winning form before a very moderate effort at Uttoxeter in July. Arthur Mc Bride took a heavy fall at Worcester in October so it was no shock when he weakened quickly at Exeter next time. Belle De Fontenay doesn't win until dropped into plating company and Amazing Scenes hasn't run since April. Landerbee blundered away his chances here last time but would be a threat with a clear round but Present Trend hasn't proved she stays this far. JIGSAW FINANCIAL (NAP) is 10lb higher than her victory here in October but she was probably beaten by the heavy ground last time and, with the champ on board, she's taken to gain another success.
