Case Stated showed marked improvement when racing over this trip for the first time at Limerick, though will probably need a bit more here. Castletownshend hasn't done anywhere near as well as expected after a narrow defeat at Naas on his debut in October. Loving A Boom has changed stables after a very good effort over a mile at Dundalk where he led for a long way. It wouldn't take much more for him to get into contention though ALANANNDA is likely to be all the rage. Dermot Weld's filly started odds-on for her debut at Gowran but didn't get the run of the race and had to settle for the runner's-up spot. She'll have gained from the experience and can go one better.
