Crossandra has had enough chances and was well beaten at Bellewstown last time. Give Battle started favourite over this sort of trip on soft ground at Wexford last time after a good run at Dundalk but disappointed but Shamash could be suited by stepping up to this trip. IVAPLAN made a belated racecourse debut at Leopardstown earlier this month and, though never close enough to trouble the odds-on The Crewmaster, showed enough to suggest a moderate contest such as this would be within his capabilities.
