Verdict
Rockliffe steps up in trip again but has won around here in the past and is probably on a fair mark thanks to Becky Smith’s claim. JACK LAMB won over course and distance back in August and won later over the trip at Kelso. He had no chance against the well-treated Solo Saxophone on his reappearance at Wetherby but should strip fitter today. Dancing Doug hasn’t had much racing but is having a first run for Philip Kirby so Mah Mate Bob, fourth at Newcastle after winning here last month, may prove a bigger danger. Murchison River also has a squeak.
