In depth

Formwatch

Far Glen (IRE) No signs of ability when pulled up in both points but stable in good form.

Mr Bossman (IRE) Ex-Irish gelding who won a small point-to-point last spring; his trainer Norman Mason should have him fit for the task in hand.

Mr Hook Caused a major upset when winning a point at 50/1 last term; needs to improve appreciably to feature.

Pennine View Not an easy horse to train; will need to be on top form to figure in the finish.

Royal Palm Very disappointing under rules but ran a better race in a point-to-point at Alnwick last time.

Superior Weapon (IRE) Kevin Anderson's charge looked in great heart when successful at Alnwick last month; lightly raced and the horse they all have to beat.

Triple Eaves Capable on his day but plenty to prove with Superior Weapon in opposition.

Gimme Shelter (IRE) Ran a nice race when runner-up in a point at Alnwick last time.

Weejumpawud Useful in point-to-points and a major player if trainer Clive Storey has her fit.
