Arthurs Kingdom may be the best of a bad bunch here, with Jazz Du Forez and Amber Go Go put forward as the main rivals. Kate Milligan's gelding reverts to hurdling after a disappointing spell over fences. He took this event twelve months ago beating Blue Irish by a comfortable six lengths and today's opposition, if anything appears to be weaker. Jazz Du Forez could be the best of them having finished a close up third in a conditional handicap at Huntingdon recently. Amber Go Go also warrants a mention having finished thirteen lengths behind Al Mabrook in quite a competitive seller at Catterick last time. The rest are a bit out of sorts, although Son Of Ross can be given a leading chance if reproducing his running behind Raise Your Glass here in October. But he has been well beaten when trying this sort of trip in the past. So once again it is quite hard to enthuse about any of them but Arthurs Kingdom gets the nod.
