In depth

Verdict

Gray Day has taken well to hurdles, winning at Leicester and Bangor. He looks sure to go close again, despite conceding 7lb to his rivals. But STORM FORECAST can defy an absence to come out on top as he will relish this step up in distance on breeding having failed to quicken over 2m at Hexham last March. Picknick Park’s third at Market Rasen was his best run so far but Bollin Ace has already run 10 times over hurdles and is looking exposed, though is usually placed.
