Verdict
The shortlist here consists of Imperial Dream, Ravenscar, Recent Edition, Test Of Friendship and Treybor, with the vote going to Imperial Dream. Working through what we see as the principals. Imperial Dream's second to World Vision over course and distance last time puts him firmly in the picture in what is not a strong maiden chase. Ravenscar is a winning pointer and his first run under Rules at Uttoxeter last time was not a bad effort. Recent Edition was still in touch when unseating rider on his Rules debut at Hexham last time and can improve on that, while Test Of Friendship has only to run up to the level of the form of his last two runs, back in March and May, to have his say. Finally, from the Wylie-Johnson camp, Treybor, a likely type on breeding, has to be considered. Overall, though, we will side with course experience and give the vote to Imperial Dream.
