This looks an open renewal but Cougar Mountain is penalised for his Group 2 success at Newmarket in September and Mondialiste, who won the Arlington Million over 1m2f in Chicago last year, may be best over that longer distance nowadays. Tashweeq missed the whole of last year but was a smart two-year-old and won a Listed race at Doncaster whereas Jallota has done all his winning over shorter trips so far. Sovereign Debt arrives on the back of a success at the All-Weather Championships but the Hannon yard has an excellent recent record in this contest and KOOL KOMPANY gets the vote. The latter won a Listed race a shade cosily at Doncaster on his reappearance, despite the narrow winning margin, and is fancied to confirm running with third-placed Dawn Of Hope.
