In depth

Verdict

Solid Stone won a Group 2 at Chester around this time last year but most attention will be focussed on stablemate DESERT CROWN. Unbeaten so far, last year’s Epsom Derby winner should be too good for these if fully wound-up given he still has untapped potential. Hukum is certainly no slouch, however, and may be en route to the Coronation Cup again having won that Group 1 at Epsom last year. Claymore is preferred to Cash and Chichester of the others.
