Most of the top yards are represented here and from the usual list of suspects it is the Walter Swinburn-trained SILKEN PROMISE who is preferred to Possibly A Ten and Entreat. The selection was a promising seventh on her debut at Doncaster last October when beaten behind the well-bred Leocorno. Considering her yard were out of form and she was an unfancied 25/1 chance, it was a bright start and she should improve for the longer trip today; her dam was a stayer and her sire gets plenty of very decent horses who are effective over a mile-plus. Leocorno is trained by Sir Michael Stoute who has two in today's line-up. Entreat has had one start so far where she was a beaten favourite at Newmarket but as a half-sister to Font she should improve with age, whilst the same is entirely plausible for a plethora in the race, including My Chestnut Girl, Silent Act and Hidden Brief. Of the newcomers Possibly A Ten rates of interest, whilst it will be interesting to see how the well-bred Galilean Moon moves in the market in relation to stablemate Entreat. Possibly A Ten represents John Gosden whose horses have been quick to come to hand this Spring and this US-bred filly should be monitored for market support. Plenty of guesswork involved here but narrow preference is for Silken Promise from the in-form Walter Swinburn yard.
