Arch Fire is steadily improving and is likely to prove a popular choice after going close at Goodwood last time, while Circumvent has dropped to a more realistic mark and Prince Of Johanne has been placed in similar company. Fallen Idol is 14lb higher than when scoring over a mile here last year, which was also the last time he raced in a handicap, while Classic Punch saves his best for Newmarket. This is a tougher task for the likes of Chain Lightning, Silver Grey and Licence To Till than they've faced of late and a chance is taken on top weight and last year's winner FORTE DEI MARMI.
