Verdict
Last-time winners Sacranun, Davenport and Corran Ard will probably all be supported well here, but a chance is taken on Night Spot to spoil the party. The selection hails from the Rod Millman yard who do well around the London tracks and comes into this after a pipe opener which saw him finish last of 17 behind Chancellor at Epsom last time. However, that should have put him straight and with decent form inclusing a win off a higher mark on ground similar to this and over this trip, we 'll chance him to come good again. Sacranun would be an automatic choice if we knew he was fully wond up, but he's needed his first run in both the past two seasons and after a year off he may just be found wanting again. Davenport steps up from winning over a mile here last time but has something to prove over this longer trip, while Corran Ard is back up in the weights after also winning over a mile here in April, but as one who is proven over 10f he may be a better alternative. However, Night Spot is handily weighted and can come good.
