Verdict

Langafel is 2-2 over hurdles but his absence since August has to be a concern and opening mark of 111 is giving nothing away. Morani Kali looks modest but Malakahna has been quite highly tried since making a winning debut at Fakenham. Romeo's Bond has gone backwards but stablemate Hasty Parisian shouldn’t be far away again and may be the biggest threat to MONSIEUR POM POM, who wears blinkers today having raced in a visor when second to a good yardstick last time at Catterick.
