Verdict
A tough finale to the day's proceedings with several of the 13 runners holding claims including Night Frolic, Mocca and Girl Warrior but the vote goes to Wee Dinns. The selection hails from the in-form yard of Sylvester Kirk and ran her best race of the season when making Luca Cumani's Prenup (a winner again on Wednesday) pull out all of the stops at Brighton last month. A reproduction of that form may suffice. Night Frolic ran with credit in a similar race on her debut in a handicap at Carlisle last time and has to be respected. The John Hills-trained filly rates a bigger threat than topweight Mocca and handicap debutante Girl Warrior. Hugh Morrison's Kythia is entitled to strip fitter for her recent reappearance and is another worthy of a mention along with the Mark Tompkins-trained Sand And Stars. However, Wee Dinns has an obvious chance on the form that she showed at Brighton and gets the vote.
