Verdict
Verbeeck improved to finish second at Leicester recently and that looks solid form with a winner having already come out of the race. He sets the standard here and should go close, while Dream Whisperer is also going the right way judged on her latest effort at Bath. Backtrade and Orders From Rome made respectable debuts and are worth noting, but the vote goes to the newcomer EL DIAMANTE. Richard Hannon's French-bred filly cost 200,000euros, is a half-sister to three winners and has an entry in the Two-Year-Old Trophy at Redcar later in the season. Lulla has plenty of speed in her pedigree and is another debutant to note.
