Verdict

High Wells is 2-2 over track and trip and still doesn’t look badly treated so it would be no surprise to see him win again though this look a tight handicap. FOX VARDY has been frustrating to follow but he would not have been suited by soft going last time at Goodwood and is now only a pound higher than when successful at Newmarket two years ago. Duke Of Verona is a consistent sort who shouldn’t be far away again while Happy finished ahead of Saratoga Gold and the selection at Goodwood. Single probably needs a bit further nowadays however.
