We open with an Amateur riders handicap and we are taking a chance at a bit of value by giving the vote to RANDAMA BAY ahead of last time out winners Sir Ike and Gallego. The selection is finally back down to the mark he last carried to victory after struggling under heavier burdens since that success. He's done most of his campaigning on the all-weather tracks but he's just as effective on turf and as long as he brings his 'A' game he should run a big race. Sir Ike only just got home last time when looking all out for the victory. His six pound mark rise has been cut in half that's to his pilots claim so he should be able to mount a challenge again. Gallego is a bit of a course specialist having scored in each of his three visits. The latest came in a similar race last time and he is still weighted well. Dudley Docker, and Justcallmehandsome should enter calculations after recent signs of form but it could be that Randama Bay is now ready to win again.
