Andrew Balding sent out Side Glance to win this last year and looks to have a strong hand in today's renewal. Highland Knight had Set The Trend behind when landing a Listed event at Pontefract last month and should figure again but stablemate TULLIUS makes more appeal. His winning run came to an end when beaten a length in the Group 2 Summer Mile at Ascot last time but this is less competitive and he can return to winning ways. Course winner Bronterre has a bit to prove over today's trip and Richard Hughes prefers Rockinante, a Group 3 winner over a mile at Newmarket last season, while Sovereign Debt continues to progress well though he'll need further improvement in this. So will the winning handicapper Trade Commissioner but the admirable veteran Mac Love is still good enough to make the frame.
