A competitive contest for a race of this type. Jockeyship is likely to play a part and Marco Ghiani has been earning rave reviews. He partners Bounty Pursuit, who is on a hat-trick after wins here and at Chepstow over 7f. Imperial Act finished ahead of AMOR FATI when second to shock winner Haraz in an amateurs’ race here last month but the latter is now 3lb better off and has one of the more experienced jockeys on board in Angus Villiers so may come out on top this time. Flying Dragon and Miss Elsa could also play a part and Thechildren'strust is potentially well treated but The Lords Walk was a beaten favourite again here last time and looks a few pounds too high.
Amor Fati (IRE) 7-1 (11-3) Settled towards rear but in touch, headway over 1f out, stayed on into 3rd inside final furlong, never a threat, 3rd of 7, 2 3/4l behind Haraz (9-9) at Salisbury 1m hcp (5) gd in Aug.
