Mutanaaseq won his first two starts but has been gelded and had wind surgery since last seen in August of last year. Mujassam and Sweet Pursuit were both in good form earlier in the year and Lightning Charlie hasn’t been disgraced off higher marks since landing a four-runner race at Brighton. BLACKHEATH won over course and distance on a faster surface in July. He has been running well at Chelmsford recently off this mark and could be the answer to a tricky puzzle in which Beyond Equal, Smokey Lane and Sir Roderic - who filled the first three places at Ffos Las last time - should also be thereabouts.
