Verdict

Mark Johnson’s two-year-olds often improve for a run so it was encouraging to see Outbreak only go down by half-a-length at Chelmsford. Point Lynas has already run six times but has placed twice and ran well in a competitive nursery at York two weeks ago. Laatansa is a half-brother to two winners and Old Harrovian is a half-brother to a winner in France but SURAC could be the pick of the newcomers. By Frankel, he is a full brother to Old Glory, who placed in Listed and Group 3 company for Ballydoyle, and a half-brother to four others winners including a Grade 2 and Grade 3 winner in Australia.
