In depth

Verdict

Blinkers would need to improve Highest Praise after a break for her to figure here but Pearl Of Africa is certainly worth a second look after her second on similar going at Galway and Silky Pyrus is improving with experience and only found Leading Light too strong over 1m1f at Tipperary last month. JUST PRETENDING is by Giant's Causeway and has entries in both next year's 1000 Guineas and Oaks. Though she'll undoubtedly prove better as a three-year-old, the Ballydoyle filly may well be good enough to make a winning debut. Coquette Noire should improve for her run over 6f at Fairyhouse and looks the pick of the remainder.
