This has attracted a maximum entry including five who won last time. The going may be a bit quick for Tipperary scorer Tristram Shandy but there's no reason why Killarney winner Russian Roulette and Herbiegoesbananas, lightly raced and successful here last month, won't go well. The Rite Article only won by a head at Wexford, however, and is 4lb higher so the consistent Sir Jack Yeats and Sounds Of Thunder are probably more interesting. HAVANA DANCER won over 2m here in June but produced an even better effort when upped to 2m4f at Sligo, beating Drive The Bus who runs in the previous race. If handling this even longer trip, Colin Bowe's charge may be the one to beat. Baily Moon and Manuka may be best of the rest as Gordon Elliott's pair, Vote Of Confidence and Lilywhite Gesture, have a bit to prove now.
