A competitive handicap can go to My Arch in first-time blinkers ahead of Lucayan Dancer and Call My Bluff. Kevin Ryan's charge has been in poor form of late over a variety of trips but this appears to be his optimum distance and with first-time blinkers hoping to sharpen him up, he looks worth taking a chance on. The stable are in good form and he gets the nod. Fortunate Isle and Wovoka are both back to winning marks if either decides to put their best foot forward, whilst Thumpers Dream should have come on for his recent outing and looks a danger. This is an easier race than Lucayan Dancer contested last time out and should go well along with Krugerrand who needs to bounce back to form. Call My Bluff didn't handle Southwell last time out but cannot be ruled out off a nice weight, however My Arch gets the nomination.
