BACHELOR KNIGHT is quickly dropped in grade and is selected here ahead of Beach Patrol and Reel Amber. The last-named is interesting given her course form and the fact that she showed improved form last time however that looked a weak race and this could be stronger. The selection let down favourite backers at Redcar last month but his previous third to Cocktail Charlie here looks rock solid (winner run well at York since) and with the longer trip in his favour he can get off the mark. Beach Patrol is also dropped in grade as he steps up in distance and he wasn't given a hard time when defeat was inevitable last time out at Kempton, Des Donovan's Sailor Boy and Dancing With Fire need to improve on their maiden form to date, whilst Crazy In Love found her level at Bath last time and is rated a danger. Muse To Use needs a market check on her debut at a lowly level, however a bigger threat may be Rath Maeve who shaped last month at Redcar as if ready for this longer distance. A well-contested seller than where we are happy to plump for Bachelor Knight. [Nic Doggett]
