TISLAAM can land the opener at the main expense of Mark Anthony and Suzi's A Smartlady. Trainer Mick Channon has his string in good form at present and Tislaam is taken to build on a good effort at Salisbury last time out. He could be considered a little unlucky that day as he was denied a clear run but he made up plenty of ground on the winner and he can go one better today. Mark Anthony is a scopey type and he wasn't helped last time by the fact that his jockey carried 2lb overweight. There should be more to come from him here and he has to be respected. Suzi's A Smartlady was having her first run on the turf at Redcar last time but she shapes as though she might benefit from a step up in trip. Mexican Milly ran a race full of promise at Doncaster earlier in the month, her first outing since the Craven meeting, so she is another to consider. However, we will stick with Tislaam as the one to beat.
