        Verdict

        With just one victory in 22 attempts, MISSISSIPPI is hardly a confident choice. But that poor strike-rate means he's dropped to a very decent mark and he almost made a winning reappearance here last month when only beaten a half-a-length with a subsequent winner just behind. Kommander Kirkup races off the same mark as when second at Newcastle last month and is a danger while Clubland won at Thirsk before finishing fourth at Leicester. Nameitwhatyoulike would have preferred an extra furlong but is another with claims on his second at Thirsk in September. Dreese, however, seems to do best at Wolverhampton.
