A competitive handicap here that can be taken by Neon Blue, with Commando Scott, Cherokee Nation and Shamrock Tea the likely dangers. The selection did well in winning at Doncaster over this trip in May before a poor draw and an extra furlong gave him in impossible task at Beverley. Last time out over six furlongs here he was again drawn badly but won his race on the far side and looks capable off this same mark. This is a much better draw and he can do what he promised last time and score. Cherokee Nation is in form and again partnered by Darryll Holland, who was on board at Yarmouth when the pair won the other day. A 6lb penalty and a high draw make this much tougher and he is opposed. Commando Scott shoulders top weight but has earned it and with some consistent efforts the drop back in trip should not inconvenience him, but both the draw and faster ground are disadvantages and a place should be as good as it gets, while Shamrock Tea has a better berth from stall six, but would want a deluge before racing to be seen to best effect. The one to light up the race then is Neon Blue.
