Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

They have saved the most difficult race until last and a narrow vote is given to Rehearsed, with Liberate and Rebelling just two of many dangers. Hughie Morrison's filly steps up in distance following a promising reappearance at Windsor last month. She may have need that outing and did look a little one paced, so a quick return and an extra couple of furlongs could be just the ticket. Liberate disappointed on his handicap debut last time. He was very well supported and so could be capable of much better. Meanwhile Rebelling is a rare runner here for Fulke Johnson-Houghton that has to be respected following an excellent third behind Swan Queen in a decent race at York. Persian Conqueror and Gettysburg are from top yards and should be noted in the betting, but Rehearsed could improve over this trip and she is our sporting choice.
