Singleb came good last time out at a big price and could go well on his handicap debut however we like the look of One Giant Leap and he gets the nod ahead of Crow's Nest Lad. The selection has only had four starts to date but she shapes as if she could be better than this mark of 64. A winner on her second outing for today's jockey, she has proven adept on a variety of ground and over this trip she looks the one they all have to beat. Shotley Mac is very consistent but whilst he is still on a fair mark he is yet to win from 16 outings. Crow's Nest Lad, along with the selection, is due to go up in the weights in the near future and if building on his good recent second then he must be respected. He has run well on a variety of going so won't mind what the weather does and he should be competitive once again. At a price don't rule out an improved effort from King's Bastion now dropped in trip, so whilst the consistent Pietersen should again run his normal consistent race, it is One Giant Leap who gets the vote as one of the better bets of the day.
