Verdict
It may be worth chancing that Jord is forward enough to get the better of Picture Frame, who makes appeal on breeding; while Granny Peel has experience on her side and should be capable of making her presence known today. There may also be a bit more to come from Tokyo Jo, who is well related, but needs to have improved vastly since his debut at Musselburgh at the end of last month. Granny Peel is from a yard in-form and looks an honest type for future reference. This is about her grade on what she has shown to date and she should be capable of picking up a small prize at some point. Picture Frame, who races in the colours of Peter Saville, is a half-brother to several winners and is worth noting in the betting market. His yard are not readily earmarked for providing first-time-out winners, though, and he may just be better for the outing. Mick Channon, on the other hand, has already scored with a juvenile this year and, with his recent runners showing plenty of exuberance, a bold bid can be anticipated from this son of Trans Island. Tony Culhane has a 20% strike-rate on two-year-olds at this track and his assistance in the saddle will be a great asset for Jord this afternoon.
