In depth

Verdict

Four of these have race experience but three of them failed to beat a rival on their latest starts and May One was beaten out of sight at Bath last month. The betting may provide the best clue to any expected improvement from them, but it's not difficult to imagine one of the newcomers being good enough to land this. Stablemates Fairweather Trader and Strategic Order are both related to winners over a mile so a tentative vote goes to Bill Turner's filly HEMI BOSSENA, whose dam is a half-sister to the Group 3 winning sprinter Mirza.
