Bakmaj was very impressive when landing a Leopardstown bumper last January then went to Cheltenham for the championship event. He's making his hurdling debut after a long absence but his trainer should have him ready. However, the race-fit ROSERIVER HAS should have his measure as he won on the Flat at Tipperary last month before finding the minimum trip too short over timber at Down Royal though he was beaten less than a length. With his stable firing the winners in, Punches Cross will probably attract support though he's been looking one-paced at the business end.
