LUDDSDENENE has been threatening to win a race for some time and almost pulled it off at Limerick last week though he was unable to match strides with Big Secret from the last. While he's vulnerable to an improver, his overall form looks too strong for these rivals though Shifa could prove an exception. Willie Mullins' French-bred mare is a real unknown though she obviously has plenty of ability. A bumper winner in the Provinces on her debut, she won a couple of minor races on the Flat during the summer and could be anything. Lord Rory showed some ability in bumpers and will be better for his debut over timber at Naas on Sunday while the well-connected Top Of The Head may prove best of the newcomers.
