The veteran Seabass, a close third in the 2012 Grand National, is on the comeback trail and is on a very lowly mark compared to his heyday so don't be surprised by a good run as Ted Walsh can get one ready. Followmeuptocarlow has won one and been placed another seven times in 14 starts over fences but probably hasn't done as well as expected. Sizing Gold looked potentially useful a couple of seasons ago so it will be interesting to see if there's money for him after a long break while Sumos Novios looked a young chaser to follow earlier this year and makes his handicap debut. Bearly Legal is better handicapped over hurdles but failed to take advantage at Down Royal so this probably revolves around the jumping ability, or lack of it, of EMPIRE OF DIRT. Colm Murphy's charge has fallen in half of his eight starts over fences but has looked useful when completing and hopefully he can get round without mishap here.
