Hucking Heat has run much better in his last two starts but the handicapper has taken note and a further 2lb rise for his latest effort at Chester may prevent Reg Hollinshead's gelding from resuming winning ways so preference is for Holiday Cocktail, who gets the vote with Gala Sunday rated the pick of the remainder. The selection showed improved form for the faster surface when successful at Redcar earlier this month and, with similar ground conditions today, he is taken to follow up. Gulf Coast ran better at Beverley last time but has yet to prove that he stays this far, while Sawwaah has slipped to a fair mark on recent Polytrack form but he is better on that surface. Kylkenny is capable and has a good record here but he does not win very often and a bigger threat may come from Mick Easterby's Gala Sunday. The eight-year-old ran better at Newbury last month and should appreciate the faster ground but preference is for Holiday Cocktail.
