All five of these runners have at least one win to their name and it is Ocean Pride that is taken to add another victory to his tally, with Upper Hand and Christa Bee rated the pick of the remainder. As is often the case with Richard Hannon's juveniles, the selection stepped up on his debut effort when staying on strongly to beat subsequent Windsor winner Tous Les Deux at Chepstow. The longer trip tonight should suit the son of Lend A Hand, who seems to have a touch of class about him. Rod Millman's Glenmuir has struggled under a penalty in his last two starts and may do so again here, while Sir Xaar has more on his plate than when making a winning debut at Doncaster. Christa Bee made a winning debut at Southwell in April and looked useful when following up at Redcar earlier this month. She takes a step up in class today but is clearly useful and, representing a small stable, may be underestimated by bookmakers and backers. Upper Hand looked good when scoring at Yarmouth first time out and should win more races but Mick Channon's colt already gives the impression that he could do with a bit further and preference is for Ocean Pride, who is taken to follow up his Chepstow success.
