A fascinating maiden that may fall to Esoterica, Royal Composer and Street Warrior look to be the main threats. David Barron is in the form of his life and Esoterica can add to the trainers recent tally. He showed plenty of promise on his only two-year-old run when third to Titus Maximus and returned with similar placing behind Mulligans Gold. He has plenty of scope for improvement and looks the one to be on. Street Warrior chased home Portland at Warwick last time, with some decent enough types behind. A repeat of that effort would make him a tough nut to crack this afternoon. Royal Composer has strong claims on his debut run in a better race at York when third to Tora Petcha and Sunderland Echo is also worth a mention following a recent second behind Apply Dapply over course and distance. However the form of the yard sways us towards Esoterica and this one is a sporting choice.
