It is interesting that Paul Hanagan is booked here for Grissom, who should be very competitive but remains 3lb higher than his most recent win, in August of last year and stablemate The Nifty Fox is also entitled to be right there at the business end, though he keeps finding a couple too good. A stiff 5f should suit Divertimenti, who has done plenty of winning over 6f, though his best turf form is on faster ground and preference is for JACK LUEY. The three-year-old won a couple of races over this trip earlier in the campaign and was entitled to need the run last time after a break. He has acted well in a narrow defeat over course and distance before and with a good draw he can bounce out and see them all off.
