Of the 6 set to face the starter, none can be totally ruled out, but from a trio of Born Tobouggie, Kal Barg and Ramona Chase we'll side with Henry Cecil's filly, his only entrant on the card. Cut in the ground won't be a problem, and like Ramona Chase, Born Tobouggie has won at this distance. Indeed she's won two of her four outings so far, and on the one occasion she didn't make the frame it was fast going. Ramona Chase hasn't won for a year, and won't want it to be too soft. Karl Barg's breeding may suggest a shorter trip would be preferable, but was placed over this trip last time out, and but for a better start could have won. Plenty have chances, but Born Tobouggie makes most appeal and is the selection.
